Private connection between Data Centers and AWS protected from future threats

Juniper Networks, in collaboration with LuxQuanta, lyntia, and Merqury Cybersecurity, has successfully demonstrated a quantum-protected private connection between on-premise data centers and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

This solution combines:
• lyntia’s infrastructure
• LuxQuanta’s Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems
• Merqury’s key management technologies
• Juniper’s AI-native security portfolio

The demo was hosted at the AWS Direct Connect site in Madrid and proved that quantum-resilient networks can be deployed today — easily and at scale.

The architecture includes:
• Dynamic routing in lyntia’s backbone network
• Integration of QKD with Juniper’s encryption solutions
• Post-Quantum Cryptography from Merqury securing the cloud channel
